Ingredients
:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup ground almonds
Whites of 2 medium eggs
Chocolate spread
Colored sprinkles for decoration
Directions:
1.
Preheat oven to 380°F (190°C).
2.
Line baking sheet with parcment paper
and set aside.
3.
In a large bowl, mix the powdered sugar,
cocoa powder and ground almonds together.
4.
Whisk egg whites until soft peaks form,
then fold into dry ingredients.
5.
Transfer mixture to pastry bag.
6.
Squeeze small balls of mixture onto the
baking sheet, leaving space between each macaron.
7.
Place in oven and bake for 10 mins.
8.
Remove from oven and leave to cool on
wire rack.
9.
Divide macarons into pairs and place
approx.
10. 1 Tsp of chocolate spread onto the flat
side of one of each pair, then press the pair together gently.
11.
Decorate with colored sprinkles.
